These are pictures I took during a tour of the Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles.
I included people and artefacts (e.g. light tents, tape marks, a bag of artificially dried autumn leaves) that were present, expecting them to break the illusion of the otherwise very convincing decors. But Hollywood magic turns out to be too strong.
The real-world elements in the pictures create dramatic tension rather than defuse it; light tents and tape marks transform into a crime scene, a bag of dried leaves becomes evidence.
I edited the pictures into a montage, following the dramatic course of a murder story.

Photography (10), Observation (11)
Flowers on graves. I love that these pictures are at once bright and muted. I take them on sunny days, but when the sun is behind a cloud.

Graphic Design (18)
When I was in primary school, girls in my class wore a piece of jewellery that they called a faith-hope-and-love-necklace: a thin, silver or gold necklace with charms of a cross, an anchor and a heart.
I remember thinking that this design was rather thrown-together-looking.
