Hex Color Picker by Waffle Software adds an extra panel to the built-in color picker in OS X and gives you the hexadecimal value for the color you pick.
If you know what hexadecimal color values are, chances are you're a web designer or developer and you will love this free, open source plugin. It can be used in all applications that use the OS X color picker. Pixelmator, my favorite image editor, even includes a version of it. I made the Dutch localization.
